The fields that can be configured are described below:
Parameter
Description
RIP State
Specifies that the RIP state will be enabled or disabled. If the state is disabled, then
RIP packets will not be either transmitted or received by the interface. The network
configured on this interface will not be in the RIP database.
Update Time (5-65535)
Enter the value of the rate at which RIP updates are sent.
Timeout Time (5-65535)
Enter the value of the time after which a RIP route is declared to be invalid.
Garbage Collection
Time (5-65535)
Enter the value of the time for which a RIP route will be kept before it is removed
from routing table.
Interface Name
Specifies the IP interface name used for this configuration.
Click the
Apply
button to accept the changes made for each individual section.
Click the
Find
button to find the specified entry.
Click the
View All
button to view all the entries.
Click the
Edit
button to re-configure the selected entry.
After clicking the
Edit
button, the following window will appear.
