are configured. Note that these parameters cannot be changed 
when the ring is activated. 

In order to guarantee correct operation, the following integrity will be 
checked when the ring instance is enabled and the global ERPS 
state is enabled. 

1. 

R-APS VLAN is created. 

2. 

The Ring port is the tagged member port of the R-APS 
VLAN. 

3. 

The RPL port is specified if RPL owner is enabled. 

4. 

The RPL port is not virtual channel. 

5. 

The Ring port is the master port if it belongs to a link 
aggregation group. 

Parameters 

<vlanid 1-4094> - 

Specifies the VLAN id to be configured.

 

state [enable | disable] – 

Specifies to enable or disable the state of 

the specified ring. 

Restrictions 

Only Administrator, operator and power user-level users can issue 
this command. 

Example usage: 

To enable the ERPS ring state: 

DGS-1210-28MP/ME:5# config erps raps_vlan 4094 state enable

Purpose 

Used to configure a sub-ring connected to another ring. 

Syntax 

config erps raps_vlan <vlanid 1-4094> [add | delete] sub_ring 
raps_vlan <vlanid 1-4094> 

Description 

The 

config  erps raps_vlan sub_ring 

command is used to 

configure  a sub-ring’s default instance connected to another ring’s 
default instance. This command is applied on the interconnection 
node. 

Parameters 

<vlanid 1-4094> - 

Specifies the R-APS VLAN id to be configured.

 

[add | delete] – 

Specifies add to connect the rub-ring to another ring. 

Or specify delete to disconnect the sub-ring from the connected ring. 

Restrictions 

Only Administrator, operator and power user-level users can issue 
this command. 

Example usage: 

To configure a sub-ring connected to another ring: 

DGS-1210-28MP/ME:5# config erps raps_vlan 4094 add sub_ring raps_vlan 2 

Command: config erps raps_vlan 4094  add sub_ring raps_vlan 2
