5.3.11.
SNMP v2 Admin Parameters
The SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) server allows to get settings, states and statistics, and to send alarms (SNMP TRAP).
Snmpd :
enables or disables the SNMP-V2 service.
Trap:
If this parameter is enabled then the CIP-ALL will send SNMP traps to
SNMP managers set by Trap Addr.0 and Trap Addr.1. No trap is sent if
these parameters are set to OFF
Trap address type 0 & 1:
Set IP address for one or two SNMP managers. If both addresses are set
the traps will be sent to both managers. (0.0.0.0 = disable)
Trap Community 0 & Trap Community 1:
Set the community name for primary and secondary manager.
Trap LAN, Terminal Server, Bundles:
Enable or disable different traps by interfaces.
Read Community:
Set the read only community name used to read settings, states and
counters (GET SNMP)
sysLocation :
Indicate a Site Name for the SNMP protocol.
sysContact :
Indicate a contact Name for the SNMP protocol.
TRAPs SNMP List:
SNMP traps are transmitted (if trap SNMP is enable), to Trap Adr 0 and Trap Addr 1, they indicate a Coldstart for example.
MIB:
MIB file is available on this web page by loading a CIP-ALL.mib file.
This file is then complied by the SNMP manager. It describes the parameters, status and statistics.
Syslog :
Enter a valid IP address to transmit the log to a remote machine.
Time:
Setting the time of the product (available only if the NTP protocol is disabled)
