WARNING:
The Bus connections can only be used to connect the LM to an R-net Control System using Curtiss-Wright supplied R-net
Communication Cables. Curtiss-Wright accept no liability for any losses of any kind if an incorrect cable is used.

PROGRAMMING
POWER MANAGEMENT EXPLAINED
Because the module will be used in conjunction with other R-net system modules such as the ISM-8 or
CxSM it is required to
ensure that a total maximum R-net bus current is never exceeded. It is necessary to announce the current consumption of th e
lighting functions on the R-net bus. This is done by setting the Lights Power and Indicator Power parameters (see below).
5.1
LAMP VOLTAGE
This sets the operating voltage for the wheelchair’s lighting system.
The programmable options are 12V and 24V. The wheelchair’s light and indicators should be fitted with lamps of the
corresponding value.
If set to 12V, then the lights and indicators will remain a constant brightness, whilst the battery voltage is above this level.
If set to 24V, then the brightness of the lamps and indicators will vary with fluctuations in the battery voltage.
NOTE:
TÜV Germany requires the 12V constant brightness condition.
