If set to On, then an alarm will sound while an inhibit is present.
If set to Off, then no alarm will sound.
5.3.13 CHANNEL X – DOWN: INHIBIT ACTIVE IN AXIS
The ISM-8 has three separate software Inhibits for each direction of each of its output Channels, 1 to 8. These inhibits are
referred to as A, B and C; and each can be initiated by any actual hardware input in the system. This functionality means tha t
any actuator Channel direction can be inhibited from three individual sources.
Channel X, Down: Inhibit Active in Axis sets whether the software Inhibit is active in a particular Axis.
If all twelve Axes are selected the software Inhibit will be active in all available Axes .
If Down: Inhibit: Inhibit Active in Axis is programmed to a subset of Axes 1 -12, the software Inhibit will only be active
in the selected Axes.
In the example below, Channel 1 Down direction is inhibited (using software Inhibit A) when Inhibit 18 input is in Band 3.
However, this Inhibit function is only required in Axes 1 and 2, so Channel 1 Up: Inhibit Activ e in Axis (A) is set to 1,2.
