CLEAN MODE
Clean mode is used to operate heaters at low levels in empty rooms. A
set point is defined by the user to define the target temperature for
these rooms. When the temperature drops below the empty zones
minimum temperature, an alarm is generated (see Alarm Settings). The
low temperature alarm in clean mode is relative to the empty zones set
point. The high temperature alarm, however, remains relative to the
normal set point. To place the controller in clean mode, see “Controller
Setup”.

Adjusting the Empty Zones Set Point
Set the function to
SET POINT / CURVE
using the menu select
buttons. The current temperature set point is displayed, as well as
the on/off state of the temperature curve.
Press the down-arrow key four
times. The empty zones set point
is displayed.
Press the Edit key. The empty
zones set point flashes on the display.
Use the arrow keys to adjust the set point to the desired value.

Adjusting Empty Zones Minimum Temperature
This value is used to monitor deactivated probes in empty zones to
ensure a minimum level of heating. Empty zones are zones not selected
for the average room temperature that have been configured in the user
setup (#3). The value ranges from -40°F to 100°F.
Set the function to
START/STOP TEMPERATURE
using the menu
select buttons. The start and stop temperatures for Heater 8 are
displayed and the Heater 8 LED on the right flashes.
Use the output select buttons to select
ALARM
. The corresponding
