4.8.6 General Device Setup
In the GENERAL DEVICE SETUP, operating parameters such as date, time, voice recording, and printer
option can be changed or adjusted by the user.
To go to GENERAL DEVICE SETUP, press, ON – MENU – DOWN –DOWN –MENU – MENU – MENU.

The variable parameters are highlighted one by one by pressing the MENU button while the
variable is highlighted. For example, when DATE is highlighted, the day, month, or year can be
highlighted by pressing the MENU button.
When a variable parameter (such as day for DATE) is highlighted, its value can be changed by
pressing the UP or DOWN button. UP will increase the value, DOWN will decrease the value.
When the boundary of the value is reached the value will wrap around. For example for the
MONTH variable of DATE, when 12 is reached, one more press of the UP button will wrap the
value to 01
