SETUP TRAINING ZONE 3
Attach the chest strap as outlined at section
HEART RATE TRANSMITTER CHEST
STRAP
With the Chest Belt attached, press the MODE button
repeatedly until you are in the heart rate mode displayed
by "PULSE".
The display will show
“- -“
while the heart rate monitor
tries to “pair” with the Chest Belt.
In heart rate mode, press the SEL
button until the training zones (upper
limit and lower limit) are displayed in
the top section ("ZONE")
Press and hold the SET button
The zone alarm symbol will flash
Select the upper and lower alarm type using the SEL
button:
Alarm sounds when exceeding the upper limit of the heart rate or falling below
the lower limit of the heart rate
Press the SET button to confirm your selection
The maximum heart rate (MHR) will flash
Press the SET button to confirm the MHR value
automatically calculated from your birth date (or
press SEL to change the MHR to suit your fitness
level)
The training zone will flash (only in Pro User Level)
Press the SEL button to select zone 3
