after you have uploaded or moved or deleted patches to sync those changes with
the Organelle's patch menu.
Flash Button
The lightning button flashes the Organelle's LED white. This is useful if
you have several Organelles on the same wireless network. It can get confusing to
remember what Organelle you are interacting with, so you can click this button to
see which Organelle you are connected to.
Home Button
The home button returns to the Organelle home page.
Managing Patch Files
The Patch Mangager provides all the functions you will need to manage files. Uploading
new patches, moving them around, archiving and downloading backups are all possible.
The following are some common operations you can perform with the Patch Manager.
Uploading a New Patch:
The Patch Manager supports uploading one or more files at a
time, but you can't upload whole folders. For this reason we want to upload patches in the
.zip or .zop format. This is convenient because patches are distributed in this format
anyway.
To upload to the microSD card, press the
SD Card
button, and then click into the 'Patches'
folder.
After you download a patch from the patches page or Patch Storage or another source,
press the
Upload
button in the Patch Manager. Select the .zip or .zop patch file and click
OK. A progress bar will indicate upload progress.
Next click the
Refresh Button
on the top right of the Patch Manager. Now on the
Organells's Patch Menu you should see
Install [Patch name].zip
(or .zop). For example,
after uploading a patch named 'New Patch' in .zip format you should see:
