sTEP 23 – Right & back Wall supports:
Fasten one Side Wall Support (S) and one Side Wall Bottom
(CE) to the right side of the Lookout Posts as shown. use
1/4 x 2" Hex Bolt Assemblies in the top holes of each board.
use 1/4" x 2" Lag Screws with Flat Washers in the bottom
holes of each board.
Fasten one End Wall Support (CI) and the Lower Wall Sup-
port (CD) to the back of the Lookout Posts as shown. use
1/4 x 4" Hex Bolt Assemblies in the top holes of each board.
use 1/4" x 2" Lag Screws with Flat Washers in the bottom
holes of each board. Make sure that the hole near the cen-
ter of the End Wall Support is offset closer to the top of the
board.
sTEP 22 – Lookout Deck boards:
Place one End Deck Board (X) on the Lookout Platform Sup-
ports between the back Lookout Posts. Fasten using three #8
x 1-5/8" Screws.
Place the other End Deck Board (X) on the Lookout Platform
Supports between front Lookout Posts with the front edge
flush with the front edge of the Inner Deck Support. Fasten
using three #8 x 1-5/8" Screws.
Evenly space five Lookout Deck Boards (CH) between the
End Deck Boards, with ends aligned. Fasten the Lookout Deck
boards using five #8 x 1-5/8" Screws each.
sTEP 24 — Left & front Wall supports:
Fasten one Side Wall Support (S) and one Side Wall Bottom
(CE) to the left side of the Lookout Posts as shown. use 1/4
x 2" Hex Bolt Assemblies in the top holes of each board. use
1/4" x 2" Lag Screws with Flat Washers in the bottom holes
of each board.
Fasten one End Wall Support (CI) to the front of the Lookout
Posts as shown. use 1/4 x 4" Hex Bolt Assemblies in the
top holes of each board. use 1/4" x 2" Lag Screws with Flat
Washers in the bottom holes of each board. Make sure that
the hole near the center of the End Wall Support is offset
closer to the top of the board.
Drill a 5/16" diameter hole through the End Wall sup-
port where the hole at the top of the Center Ladder Rail
lands.
Fasten the Center Ladder Rail to the End Support
using a 1/4 x 3" Hex Bolt Assembly with a Short Weld Nut.
