• Click the “+” button located on the ‘Repeat’ bar, as shown above.
• Select Scan from the Step Type list.
• Enter the desired treatment parameters as for a normal treatment step.
Note that the first parameter is “Speed”, not “Second” as in non-scanning treatments. The total length of a treatment dose in a scan
treatment is a function of the scan speed and the number of scans.
• With the Scan step outlined in orange, click and drag on the columns to be treated. Entire or partial plates may be treated.
When treating a partial plate, the columns being scanned must be contiguous. SonoLab will not accept a non-contiguous
selection. For 384-well plates only contiguous pairs wells may be selected.
• Click the Step Edit button to display additional Scanning step options.
