• Click on the “GENERAL” tab.
Click the On/Off switch to turn on “Require Login”. If “Require Login” is not on, the Default user is active when SonoLab starts and
no other user has logged in. An administrator can adjust the role of the Default user to allow this user the permissions desired. By
default, the Default user has Editor permissions, access to all methods, and Optional Consumable-based Method Selection control.

5.5.2 Users and Roles
There are three permission levels within the user authentication, Administrator, Editor, and Operator.
An Administrator:
• Can add or edit other Administrator level users.
• Can add or edit Editor level users.
• Can add or edit Operator level users.
• Can assign access to specific methods to Administrators, Editors, and Operators.
• Can run and edit any methods installed on the system.
