Alarm connections
Alarm inputs can be set for normally open or normally closed, the default setting is
normally open. See page 109 for details on how to change the setting.
There are four alarm inputs and two ground connectors on each DVR.
Alarm inputs are activated in the following way:
Normally Open Connect to ground to activate
Normally Closed Remove connection from ground to activate
Normally Open Normally Closed
Connecting Alarm Outputs
Each unit has a single relay output.
The relay is voltage free contact rated at 1A 12v and is normally open closing on
activation.
Single Alarm Output
The relay can be programmed to respond to different types of event, see pages 112 &
118 for details on setting the alarm output.
