XW-210 WiFi™ Users Manual
Email/Action Delay:
Number of seconds to delay before considering the sensor to be in an alarm state. For example, if the
temperature sensor is monitoring a freezer and is mounted near the door, the sensor may go in to an
alarm state each time the door is opened and cause false alarms. The delay will cause the temperature
to be in an alarm state for the specified number of seconds before processing any triggers based on that
sensors alarm state.
Email Option:
Simple email messages can be sent in response to alarm conditions. This parameter is used to specify
what alarm conditions, if any, will cause email messages to be sent. Email notifications will work only if
email is correctly setup in the
WiFi Networks
tab.
No email Messages:
No email messages will be sent due to alarm conditions.
Send email on Alarm 1:
Email notifications will be sent due to an Alarm 1 condition.
Send email on Alarm 2:
Email notifications will be sent due to an Alarm 2 condition.
Send email on Alarm 1 and Alarm 2:
Email notifications will be sent due to an Alarm 1 or Alarm
2 condition.
Send email on Alarm 1, Alarm 2 and normal:
Email notifications will be sent when Alarm 1 or
Alarm 2 occur, or when normal conditions are restored.
Use Email Address:
These check boxes determine what Email addresses the temperature alarm message is sent to. Up to
eight Email addresses can be assigned. The same message is sent to each Email address. For email
notification to work, the XW-210 must have a properly configured network connection and a SMTP
server must be defined. When an Email address is entered via the
WiFi Networks tab
, the check boxes
will show the respective Email addresses.
Remote Services:
The XW-210 can be configured to send messages to other ControlByWeb™ products that are located at
a remote location on the network. This field specifies the action taken due to a temperature alarm
condition. The following actions are available:
No Action:

Send state on Alarm 2:

Send state on Alarm 1 and Alarm 2:
