Frame Rate
The following 4 factors determines the camera's maximum frame rate, they are Bandwidth, Pixel Format,
AOI Output Resolution and The Calculation Formula of Frame Rate in ROI.
Click and expand
“Acquisition Control” to find “Acquisition Frame Rate”, enter right acquisition frame rate
to enable it
,
shown as below.
ROI
The camera's maximum frame rate is determined by following three factors
:
Frame Readout The smaller image height, the less readout time and the higher frame rate.
Exposure Time
The less exposure time, the higher frame rate.
Bandwidth
The larger bandwidth, the higher transmission frame rate is supported.
If you are only interested in a certain region of the image, you can set a Region of Interest(ROI) for the
camera. Setting ROI can reduce the bandwidth of the image being transmitted.
Thus increasing the frame rate to some extent.
ROI setting steps: Click
“Image Format Control” > “Width and Height” thus according to actual demands
to adjust the area of ROI. The parameters of Offset X and Offset Y represents the starting point in the
upper left corner of ROI. Shown as below.
