• The CONMED 1000SES
TM
Filters are com-
pletely disposable. Please handle these dispos-
able filters according to your local codes or
regulations and hospital policy. These filters
may be disposed of or incinerated, whichever
is appropriate for your institution.
• The CONMED 1000SES
TM
Filter should be
changed according to the life of the filter. The
CONMED 1000SES
TM
Filter, used with the
CONMED 1000SES
TM
, should not be used
for more than 8 hours. Failure to change the
filter may result in decreased efficiency and
contamination of the electric motor, vacuum
pump, and sound absorbing media within the
unit.
• If fluid is expected to be aspirated by the
CONMED 1000SES
TM
Filter, fluid collection
devices must be installed with the vacuum
hose assembly. Failure to install a fluid collec-

and may void the unit warranty.
• When using a Suction Canister set up, do
not increase the vacuum setting to more than
50%. Failure to observe this maximum may
result in overheating of the motor and system
failure.
