DHCP Server Configuration
Use this page to configure DHCP server services.
DHCP Server Configuration
Description
DHCP Server
You can select to Enable or Disable the DHCP Server function. The RocketLinx ES7528
assigns a new IP address to link partners.
DHCP Server Configuration
After selecting to enable the DHCP Server function, type in the Network IP address for the
DHCP server IP pool, Subnet Mask, Default Gateway address, and Lease Time for client.
Apply
Click
Apply
to apply the settings.
Note: You must Save the settings (Page 137), if you want to maintain these settings if the
RocketLinx ES7528 is powered off.
Excluded Address
You can type a specific address into the
IP Address field
for the DHCP server reserved IP
address.
The IP address that is listed in the
Excluded Address List Table
is not assigned to the
network device. Add or remove an IP address from the
Excluded Address List
by
clicking
Add
or
Remove
.
Manual Binding
The
RocketLinx ES7528 provides a MAC address and IP address binding and removing
function. You can type in the specified IP and MAC address, and then click
Add
to add a
new MAC and IP address binding rule for a specified link partner, like a PLC, or any
device without
DHCP client
function.
The MAC address format is
xxxx.xxxx.xxxx
; for example, 00C0.4E33.0001.
To remove from the binding list, just select the rule to remove and click
Remove
.
