This connector is labeled KPA #2. When connected to a Comtech EF Data KPA, the KPA will
automatically configure itself as Primary KPA #2.
The second control cable attaches from the Backup Unit J7 to the Waveguide switch.

Note: The functionality described for the 1:1 Redundant System applies to the 1:2 System.
The difference is that there is a third connector dasily-chained onto the cable. This connector is
labled, “
SSPA#2 .” When connected to a Comtech EF Data SSPA, the SSPA will automatically
configure itself as “ Primary SSPA#2 .”
