2.4.5 Mounting the System on the Slides
To mount the system on the slides, refer to Figure 2-4 and proceed as follows:

The ES40CSLP rackmount system can weigh up to 40.82 kg (90 lb). Use
sufficient personnel or the proper lifting equipment when lifting or moving the
system.

Das ES40CSLP Rackmount System kann bis zu 40,82 kg (90 lb) wiegen. Beim
Hochheben oder Transport des Systems sollten deshalb genügend Hilfskräfte
vorhanden sein oder die richtigen Hebewerkzeuge benutzt werden.

Stabilize the cabinet before installing the system into the cabinet.
1. Pull both equipment slides
™ out fully to their locked positions.
2. Lift the chassis and position it so that the slide races
š fit into the front end of the slides.
3. Push the system into the slides until it stops. Push up on the two locking levers
› and then
push the system into the cabinet.
4. Secure the system to the front cabinet rails using the four 10-32 captive screws
œ on the
front panel. The captive screws go into the rail nuts
 previously installed on the cabinet
rails.
