5.20 Paddle Card
Perform the following procedure to remove the paddle card:
1.
Extend the chassis for service (see Section 5.2).
2.
Remove the PCI access cover (see Section 5.5).
3.
Disconnect the two ribbon cables
and one power cable from the top of the paddle card
(see Figure 5-19).
4.
Remove the two screws
from the right side of the chassis that secure the paddle card
bracket and lift the paddle card and bracket out of the chassis (see Figure 5-19).
5.
Remove the five screws
that secure the paddle card to the bracket (see Figure 5-19).
6.
Disconnect the ribbon cable
from the bottom of the paddle card (see Figure 5-19).
To replace the paddle card, refer to Figure 5-19 and reverse steps 1 through 6 of the removal
procedure.
