4.9.5 DHCP Server
The Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) is a network protocol enabling a server to
automatically assign an IP address to a computer from a defined range of numbers configured for
a given network.
Status Settings
The Status Settings page allows you to configure the DHCP server mode (enabled or disabled).
To access this page, click Management > DHCP Server > Status Settings.

DHCP Server
Select Enable or Disable to designate the DHCP server function type
When a new DHCP server mode is selected, the switch requires a system restart for the
new mode to take effect.
Apply
Click Apply to save the values and update the screen.
Restart
Click Restart to have the switch perform a system restart function. In the event that the
IP settings are changed, the DHCP server must be restarted for the IP settings to take
effect.
