DAILY MAINTENANCE

5.

Check that the brush head unit is raised from the floor, if necessary turn the lever (04) anti-
clockwise. As soon as the brush head reaches the rest position it will stop working.

6.

Rotate the brush until it comes out of the housing of the brush-holder plate.

7.

Clean the brushes under a jet of water and remove any dirt in the brush bristles. Check the
bristles. If they are excessively worn, replace the brushes (the bristles should protrude by at
least 10mm). Read the section “REPLACING DISC BRUSHES (Innova 60 B version)” for
replacing the brush.

8.

Repeat the operations in reverse order to reassemble all the parts.

51.  CLEANING THE DISC BRUSHES (Innova 65B - Innova 75B - Innova 85B - Innova 100B

versions)

Careful cleaning of the brushes guarantees better cleaning of the floor as well as a longer brush
motor life. To clean the brushes, proceed as follows:

1.

Take the machine to the designated machine maintenance area; use the switch on the
instrument panel to select the “TRANSPORT” program (A).

2.

Block the machine in place by engaging the parking brake, press the pedal (01) and block it
with the lever (02) at the rear of the steering column (read the section “PARKING BRAKE
AND SERVICE BRAKE”).

ATTENTION: users are advised to always wear protective gloves, to avoid the risk
of serious injury to hands.

3.

Press the brush uncoupling button (03) on the instrument panel. As soon as the button is
pressed, you will see the question “RELEASE?” on the screen. Press the brush release
button (03) on the steering wheel again, to confirm

ATTENTION: The place this operation is carried out should comply with current
environmental protection regulations.

4.

Clean the brushes under a jet of water and remove any dirt in the brush bristles. Check the
bristles. If they are excessively worn, replace the brushes (the bristles should protrude by at
least 10mm). If you need to replace the brushes, read “REPLACING THE DISC BRUSHES
(Innova 65B - Innova 75B - Innova 85B - Innova 100B versions)”.

5.

Repeat the operations in reverse order to reassemble all the parts.
