To align the camera, the 4 x pan head locking screws that hold
the camera to the mount have to be loose. But not too loose
so that the camera can move away from the mount, a quarter
of a turn should be enough to allow the camera to move up
and down.
9.
Make sure the 2 x M3 nuts holding the camera to the
alignment screw are tight.
