The above image shows an aligned camera. The bottom line must
be all the way down and level when the camera is aligned. If either
end goes up at all, then the camera is not aligned.
Out of alignment camera, image shows the camera just starting to
catch the edge of the dotted line running down the scan path.
Downward pillars are the black
dashes of the alignment target stuck
over the camera.
Focus area. If the two lines are very
close together, then the camera will
need focusing before alignment.

Centre line of target must be inline with the centre line of
the scope. If not, physically move the camera left or right
until it is.
