Intermittent ignition coil failure

Water or dirt in the fuel system and/or
carburetor; dirty or clogged fuel filter
Engine starts but does not run smoothly.
Fuel pump malfunction; fuel pressure to
carburetor too low
Fuel tank is empty
Fuel line or filters clogged
Fouled spark plug

Spark plug wire damaged or loose

Loose wire connection at ignition coil

Fan screen is partially blocked or plugged

Carburetor is too lean; check main jet size
Excessive carbon deposits on piston head or
in combustion chamber
