Rear Underbody Installation
1. Install rear underbody (4) on the vehicle
(Figure 4-7, Page 4-13)
. Install two screws (18) to secure the
underbody to the two wheel liners (8 and 9) and install four screws (5) to secure the underbody to its vehi-
cle. Tighten screws (5 and 18) to 3.7 ft-lb (5 N·m).
Wheel Liner Removal
1. Remove two screws (21) from the upper portion of each support (19 and 20)
(Figure 4-7, Page 4-13)
.
2. Remove one screw (22) from the lower portion of each support (19 and 20). Remove supports from vehi-
cle.
3. Remove bolts (10) to release liners (8 and 9) from vehicle.
Wheel Liner Installation
1. Position liners (8 and 9) on vehicle and secure with bolts (10). Bolts (10) thread into J-clips (11) attached
to the inner-frame rail. Tighten bolts to 4.4 ft-lb (6 N·m).
2. Position supports (19 and 20) between the liners (8 and 9) and the frame. Secure top of supports to liners
with two screws (21). Secure bottom of support to frame with one screw (22). Tighten screws (21 and 22)
to 2.6 ft-lb (3.5 N·m).
