If your new system includes optional backing, please follow

the directions below to ensure proper installation procedure.

Backer will be installed in the same manner as a bottom shelf.

1. If applicable, insert cam-locks into backing. Insert the cam-

locks into the holes square to the edge of the shelf.

2. With the cam-lock opening facing outward from the back,

gently pound the cam-lock into place until it is flush square

with the shelf edge.

3. Attach the backing to the vertical panels by pushing backer

with cams facing wall over the dowel studs and turning the

cam screw ½ turn counter-clockwise. Do not force the cam

lock. If it does not move easily, check that the cam lock is in

the “open” position and that the back is pushed completely

over the dowel stud.

4. Attach all of the unit backing in the same way.
