Troubleshooting
Check the mains cable.
Check the supply voltage.

Switch on the television set.
Set the correct channel (AV).
Check the connection. See page 31-33
Clean the CD. See page 48.
Note:
The DVD receiver should be connec-
ted directly to the television; do not connect
via the video recorder.

Check the inserted CD. The side to be play-
ed must point down.
Clean the CD
Try another CD.
Increase volume using the
»ADJ/VOL. +/-«

Check batteries and replace if necessary.

Remove the batteries from other remote
control devices.
Check the format of the CD by looking at
the cover. This device is only suitable for
PAL and NTSC.

Call-up the set-up menu and switch-over to
the digital output (AUDIO OUT), (see page
35-37).
Check whether the audio format of the sel-
ected audio language corresponds to the
possibilities of the receiving device.
Switch the device on and off with POWER
