Adjustments and operations
Cardan shaft working angle
Conventional cardan: To perform maneuvers
on the headboards when the cardan is turned on
and without any load, the maximum allowed angle is
30º. Being the cardan off, this angle can reach 80º.
Deactivate the PTO if the angle on a maneuver
will be greater than 30º.
Homokinetic cardan: When maneuvering the
headboards and the cardan is turned on with no
load, the maximum allowed angle is 70º. Do not
make any type of maneuver being the homokinetic
cardan off.
NOTE
If the cardan works with an angle greater than 30º, there will be a noise and
immediate damage to it.
It is recommended to turn off the tractor PTO to perform maneuvers that
exceeds the angle limit of 30º.
