The device does not power
down.
1.
Turn off the device by pressing the power-control button for 5
seconds.
2.
Restart the device.
3.
If the device fails POST and the power-control button does not
work, disconnect the power cord for 20 seconds. Reconnect the
power cord and restart the device.
4.
If the problem remains, check the system board.
The device unexpectedly shuts
down, and the LEDs on the
operator information panel are
not lit.

Verify the following items:

b.
The serial port is enabled and is assigned a unique address.

2.
Check for a failing serial device.
3.
Check the system board.
