Card Reference

This chapter describes the Cisco ONS 15327 cards. It includes descriptions, hardware specifications, and 
block diagrams for each card. For installation and turn-up procedures, refer to 

Chapter 1, “Hardware 

Installation.”

Note

The I-Temp symbol is displayed on the faceplate of an I-Temp compliant card. A card without this 
symbol is C-Temp compliant.

13.1  Overview

The Cisco ONS 15327 uses common control cards, mechanical interface cards, optical cards, and an 
Ethernet/fast Ethernet card. This overview provides a summary of the cards. 

Figure 13-1
