Set up the VM for PVRDMA as follows:
a.
Install one of the following supported guest OSs:
RHEL 7.5 and 7.6
Ubuntu 14.04 (kernel version 4.0)
b.
Install OFED-3.18.
c.
Compile and install the PVRDMA guest driver and library.
d.
Add a new PVRDMA network adapter to the VM as follows:
Edit the VM settings.
Add a new network adapter.
Select the newly added DVS port group as
Network
.
Select
PVRDMA
as the adapter type.
e.
After the VM is booted, ensure that the PVRDMA guest driver is
loaded.
Configuring DCQCN
Data Center Quantized Congestion Notification (DCQCN) is a feature that
determines how an RoCE receiver notifies a transmitter that a switch between
them has provided an explicit congestion notification (notification point), and how
a transmitter reacts to such notification (reaction point).
