Operator Maintenance Programs
The Key Operator Maintenance (KOM) program is an entry level maintenance
program that includes cleaning and minor part replacement of the varioPRINT
6000 TITAN Series devices. The KOM program provides customers with the
ability to improve the uptime and productivity of their digital press. This program
requires key operator training by your dealership and is recommended for all
placements of the varioPRINT 6000 TITAN Series devices.
The extended Key Operator Maintenance (eKOM) program includes the KOM
program maintenance procedures with the addition of advanced part
replacement, cleaning and registration adjustment of the varioPRINT 6000
TITAN Series devices. The eKOM program is available at the discretion of your
dealership and requires additional key operator training. The eKOM program is
highly recommended for the following customers environments:
•
High production demands
•
Light Weight Media kit installed
•
Use of carbonless and preprinted media
•
Ballot Printing
The eKOM program requires a license activated on the varioPRINT 6000
TITAN Series devices for the customer key operator to access the eKOM
maintenance procedures. The eKOM license is available at no charge to your
dealership.

1. Program Benefits
The KOM program and eKOM program provides an opportunity to increase
customer satisfaction with the varioPRINT 6000 TITAN Series devices by
providing customers with greater control over the machine’s uptime and
productivity.
Active maintenance by the customer benefits the service organization by
reducing work and travel time for the service technician. A reduction in
labor and travel enables the service technician to focus on other machines
that may require greater attention and time.
