"DOC. TOO LONG" (#003)
Cause: The document is longer than 39.4"(1m).
Solution: Use a copy machine to make a reduced copy of the document. Then send again.
Cause:
It took more than 32 minutes to send or copy a document. It took more than 32
minutes to receive a document.
Solution:
Divide the document and send or copy each part separately. Contact the other
party. Have them divide the document and send each part separately.
"HANG UP PHONE"
Cause:
The handset or the extension telephone is off the hook.
Solution:
Put the handset or the extension telephone back on the hook.
"INSTALL BC-33"
cause:
You tried to make color copies with the installed Black BJ cartridge.
Solution:
Remove the Black BJ cartridge and install the color BJ cartridge.
Cause:
You tried to print a received color fax with the installed Black BJ cartridge.
Solution: Remove the Black BJ cartridge and install the Color BJ cartridge. If you do not
have this BJ cartridge available, you can convert received color fax in memory to
black & white and print the fax with the Black BJ cartridge.
Cause:
You disabled the PHOTO INK PRINT setting and tried to print a received color
fax with the installed Photo BJ cartridge.
Solution: Remove the Photo BJ cartridge and install the Color BJ cartridge. Alternatively,
enable the PHOTO INK PRINT setting.
Cause: You tried to make a color copy in PLAIN PAPER or COLOR DRAFT mode with
the installed Black BJ cartridge.
Solution:
Remove the Black BJ cartridge and install the Color BJ cartridge.
"INSTALL BC33/30"
Cause:
You disabled the PHOTO INK PRINT setting and tried to make a black & white
copy, print a received black & white fax, print a report, or print a black & white
document in memory with the installed Photo BJ cartridge.
Solution: Remove the Photo BJ cartridge and install the Color or Black BJ cartridge.
Alternatively, enable the PHOTO INK PRINT setting.
"INSTALL BC33/34"
Cause:
You tried to make a color copy in HI RES. PAPER or COLOR SNAPSHOT mode
with the installed Black BJ cartridge.
Solution: Remove the Black BJ cartridge and install the Color or Photo BJ cartridge.
"K INK EMPTY"
Cause:
The Black BJ tank in the Color, Photo or Black BJ cartridge is empty.
Solution: Replace the Black BJ tank.
"LOAD PAPER" (#009)
Cause:
The fax is out of paper.
Solution:
Add more paper to the paper cassette. Make sure the stack is below the limit mark
and press the Start or Resume button.
