LCD
Displays messages and prompts during
operation. Also displays selections, text,
numbers, and names when registering
information.
■
Redial/Pause Button
Redials the last number that was dialed with
the numeric buttons. Also enters pauses
between or after the fax/telephone number
when dialing or registering numbers.
■
Coded Dial Button
Press this button and a two-digit code to dial
a pre-registered fax/telephone number or
group.
■
Color/B&W Button
Sets the unit for color or black & white
transmission or copying. For color
transmission or color copying, press this
button to turn on its light.
■
Hook Button
Engages or disengages the telephone line.
■
Alarm Light
Flashes when an error occurs, or when the
MultiPASS is out of paper or ink.
■
Receive Mode Button
Selects the receive mode.
■
Copy Button
Sets the MultiPASS to make copies.
■
Image Quality Button
Selects the resolution setting the MultiPASS
uses for the document you are sending. Also
selects the image quality setting (resolution
and paper type) for the document you are
copying.
■
Stop Button
Cancels sending, receiving, registering data,
copying and other operations, and returns the
MultiPASS to standby mode.
■
Start Button
Starts sending, receiving, scanning, and
copying.
■
One-Touch Speed Dialing/Special Function Buttons
Dial fax/telephone numbers pre-registered for one-touch
speed dialing. Also used to perform special functions.
■
Numeric Buttons
Enter numbers when
dialing or registering
fax/telephone numbers.
Also enter characters
when registering names.
■
Document Feed Lever
Sets the ADF to (automatic document feed) for feeding
multipage documents, or to (manual document feed) for
feeding single sheets.
