• NCU board .......................... interface with telephone line
• Power supply unit ............... supplies power to the units and assemblies
• OPCNT board ..................... detects keyboard operation and displays machine information
• 7 sensors ............................. detect unit and assembly statuses

Pickup roller sensor:

Document edge sensor:
Detects the trailing edge
of the document.
Home position sensor:
Detects the carriage position
and purge unit status.
