MultiPASS C755  Chapter 2: Assembly and Disassembly

Disassembly 2.  Scanning assembly

(1) Perform disassembly 1.

(2) Remove the three cables (e), connected to the SCNT board at the left side of the main unit. Also, remove

the cables (f), connecting the SCNT board and the PCNT board. Then, remove the two cables (j), from

the carriage motor and the ink sensor, and remove the cable guide (c). When you remove the cable
guide, prise loose the tabs (d).

(3) Remove the two screws (g).
(4) Remove the two screws (a), and then take off the ground plate (b).

(5) Remove the stopper (h), and then remove the control panel and ADF upper assembly.
(6) Remove the two screws (i), and remove the ADF lower assembly.
