[Finisher Jam / Uneven Stacking] 

Symptom 

E535-0004/1122/10E0 jam code or misalignment due to software failure of SORTER Ver.34.00 or 

before (Booklet/Staple Finisher-D1) 

 

A) 1122 jam or E535-0004 error occurs when the shutter is closed during large amount print job. 

B) 10E0 jam occurs when continuously outputting A3 print job without stapling after outputting A4 print 

job with 1-point stapling. 

C) Paper is not switched back to the buffer path assembly in the finisher during buffer path paper feed 

operation, and then the paper is delivered directly onto the stack tray, resulting in a misalignment. 

- E535-0004: Error in the swing guide motor 

- 1122 jam: Finisher feed sensor stationary jam 

- 10E0 jam: Inlet sensor delay jam1 

 

Cause   

The symptom attributes to a failure of the software (SORTER) Ver.34.00 or before for Booklet/Staple 

Finisher-D1. 

 

Service work   

Upgrade the software (SORTER) for Booklet/Staple Finisher-D1 to Ver.34.01 or later.
