1. Touch “END” on the Test Print screen.

2. Select “3rd or 4th Drawer” on the
Registration (CD) screen.
(This highlights the “3rd or 4th Drawer” key.)

3. Press the Clear (C) key and, using the 10-
Key Pad, change the setting value as
detailed below.
• If width A is greater than the specified value
(e.g. +1.0 mm), enter -1.0.
• If width A is smaller than the specified value
(e.g. -1.0 mm), enter +1.0.
* Press the “ ✽ ” key to select or -.

* If the Adjust mode is not effective enough to
make the adjustment, perform the following
procedure [paper reference position adjust-
ment (2)].
1. Slide out the drawer and unload paper from
it.
2. Loosen the three screws at the center of the
Paper Lifting Plate.

3. Watching the graduations provided in the
drawer, move the Edge Guide in the rear.
• If width A is greater than the specified value,
move the Edge Guide toward the front.
• If width A is smaller than the specified value,
move the Edge Guide toward the rear.
4. Load paper and let the copier produce
another test print. Then, check width A.
* Make the adjustment until width A falls within
the specified range.

5. Press the Panel Reset key to recall the Tech.
Rep. Mode to the screen. Then, touch “Exit”
on the Tech. Rep. Mode screen.
