4. With the im2520f , reconnect the Ni-MH battery cable t o CN3 on the MFB3 circuit
board.
NOTE
If the cable is not reconnected, there will be no backup power in case of a power failure.
Therefore, be sure to reconnect the battery cable.
(3) Replace the CompactFlash card (only with the ZC3500130 ) .
4. Install the ROM cover into original position.
*Continue with the installation of the network interface card ( ZC3500090 ).
2. Install one of the following memory circuit
boards into expansion slot 1 (CN4) on the
MFB3 circuit board.
• Printer memory circuit board (for ZC3500080 )
• Printer memory circuit board (for
ZC3500130 )
NOTE
• Do not touch the terminals of the memory
circuit board with your bare hands.
• Check the installation direction (location of
the notch), and then firmly insert the circuit
board until it snaps into place.

Expansion slot 1 (CN4)
3. Install one of the following memory circuit
boards into expansion slot 2 (CN5) on the
MFB3 circuit board.
•
Network scanner memory circuit board
• Internet fax & network scanner memory
circuit board
• Expansion memory (32 MB, 64 MB or
128 MB)
NOTE
• Do not touch the terminals of the memory
circuit board with your bare hands.
• Check the installation direction (location of
the notch), and then firmly insert the circuit
board until it snaps into place.

Expansion slot 2 (CN5)
1. Remove the ROM cover on the right side of
the scanner.

2. Remove the CompactFlash card that is
already installed.
3. Install the CompactFlash card included with
the printer controller ( ZC3500130 ).
