Removing Shipping Materials

The copier/fax has been packed with protective material to protect it during shipping.
Remove this material as follows and keep it in case you need to transport the unit in
the future:

from the side of the unit.

Close the ADF (Automatic Document

Feeder).

Open the operation panel

partially by gently pulling it
toward you (it only opens
slightly). Then remove the
protective sheet from the ADF
(Automatic Document Feeder).

Close the operation panel by

pressing it down from the
center until it locks into place.
