Important media printer adjustments
Introduction
In the table below some important media printer adjustments that are available in the Settings
Editor are described.

Move the stitch position to-
wards the intended centre
of the booklet. If necessary,
perform the 'Saddle stitch
fold position adjustment' to
move the fold towards the
intended centre too.
Change the value when the
saddle stitch position is
slightly offset from the pa-
per center.
- Increase: the saddle stitch
position is shifted to the
right of the printing side.
- Decrease: the saddle
stitch position is shifted to
the left of the printing side.

When the saddle stitch
function of the Saddle Fin-
isher is used, the value is
changed if the fold place-
ment is not exactly on the
centre of the paper.
- Increase the setting value
to shift the fold placement
to the right of the printing
surface.
- Decrease the setting val-
ue to shift the fold place-
ment to the left of the print-
ing surface
Punch hole posi-
tion adjustment

Range: -2.0 to
+2.0 mm, step
0.25 mm., default
0.0 mm
Use this function when the
punch hole position is off-
set due to the paper type
used.
- Increased values: the
punch hole position is shif-
ted to the bottom.
- Decreased values: the
punch hole position is shif-
ted to the top.
Saddle fold posi-
tion adjustment

Range: -2.00 to
+2.00 mm, step
0.25 mm, default
0.0 mm
When the saddle fold func-
tion of the Saddle Finisher
is used, the value is
changed if the fold place-
ment is not exactly on the
centre of the paper.
- Increase the setting value
to shift the fold placement
to the left. - Decrease the
setting value to shift the
fold placement to the right.
