Tension Cylinder Removal And Installation
TENSION CYLINDER REMOVAL
STEP 1
Follow Steps 1 through 6 of the Track Removal
section of this manual to loosen the track and remove
both tensioning idler wheels. Be sure all pressure is
relieved in the tension cylinder.
Support the tension idler wheels axle.
NOTE:
The tension cylinder (1) is located on the
front idler of the 24D18C models (as shown) and on
the rear idler assembly of the 30/36D23MC and 30/
36D22MC models.
STEP 2
Remove hose (1) from the tension cylinder.
NOTE:
The track has been removed for photo purposes.
STEP 3
Remove the bolt (1) and washer from the cylinder
base pin.
