You can change the language of the system at this
time. Press the reconfigurable soft key next to the
desired language. An X will appear next to the
choice and all system related language will change.
When getting started, you may set the navigation
system to your preference using various
options. To do so, reference the following topics:

English/metric measurements, voice guidance
volume, or other options, see
Setup Menu
on page 27
.
Loading a DVD Map Disc
1. If a audio or video disc is loaded, eject the disc.
2. Insert the DVD map disc into the single player
slot located at the top of the navigation
system. The six-disc CD changer will not read
the DVD map disc.
3. Press the NAV hard key.
4. Press the Agree button to agree that you
have read the screen. The map information
will load and display on the screen.

Entering an Address
You can set a destination by entering an address.
1. If a DVD map disc is not currently loaded,
see “Loading a DVD Map Disc” earlier in
this section. If a disc is loaded, proceed to
Step 2.
2. Press the TUNE/SEL knob to display the
Navigation Menu.
3. Press the Enter Dest reconfigurable soft key.
4. Press the Address reconfigurable soft key.
5. Press the State reconfigurable soft key.
Use the TUNE/SEL knob to enter and
select the name of the state where the
address is located.
6. Press the City reconfigurable soft key. Use
the TUNE/SEL knob to enter the name of
the city where the address is located. Press
the List reconfigurable soft key to display a list
of cities that match the letters you entered
and use the TUNE/SEL knob to select
the desired city. Remember to use the same
city that you would when mailing a letter,
for example, the postal address city.
