Finding a Station
Press the BAND hard key to toggle between AM, FM,
XM, if equipped, or WX, if equipped. Or, touch the
desired audio source to select it. To search for a station
use the tune, seek, or Scan button.
SCAN: To scan stations, touch the Scan screen button.
The radio will go to a station, play for a few seconds,
then go on to the next station. Touch Scan again to stop
scanning.
To scan preset stations, touch and hold Scan for two
seconds. Touch Scan again to stop scanning. While in
A.B.C mode, the system will change bands and
screens to the current band.
If available on your vehicle, you can also use the
1 - 6 (preset seek) steering wheel control to seek
through your preset stations.
Info (Information): Touch Info to display information
broadcasted by the RDS station when in FM mode
or XM™ radio station you are listening to. See “Radio
Data System (RDS)” or “XM™ Satellite Radio Service”
later in this section.
Category: Touch this button when in FM mode to have
the program types appear on the preset. Select a
category and the system will start scanning for available
stations within the selected category. If none are
found the system will display “None Found” and will
return to the last selected station. Each of the six
category names displayed on the presets include a
grouping of other program types. In AM and WX modes,
the Category option is not available.
