Radio Commands
The following are radio commands you can access by
clearly stating the commands exactly as they are written.
The commands are only available when you are in
one of the following audio modes, AM, FM, XM™
(if equipped), or WX (if equipped).
Radio, radio turn off: These commands instruct the
system to turn the audio system on and off.
Radio [set] balance left, radio [set] balance right:
These commands instruct the system to increase
the balance to the maximum setting left or right.
Radio [set] fade front, radio [set] fade rear: These
commands instruct the system to increase the fade
to the maximum setting front or rear.
Radio [set] balance center, radio [set] balance
middle, radio [set] fade center, radio [set] fade
middle: These commands instruct the system to set
the fade or balance to the center and middle.
Radio scan up, radio scan down: These commands
instruct the system to scan up or down through radio
stations.
Radio [band] [select] AM, radio [band] [select] FM,
radio [band] [select] XM, radio [band] [select]
satellite, radio [band] [select] WX, radio [band]
[select] weather band: These commands instruct the
system to go to either the AM, FM, XM (if equipped),
or WX (if equipped) radio bands.
Radio [select] (frequency) AM, radio [select]
(frequency) FM, radio [select] (channel) weather
band: These commands instruct the system to go
to a specific frequency on either the AM, FM,
weather bands.
Radio [select] (channel) XM, radio [select] (channel)
satellite: These commands instruct the system to
go to a specific channel on the XM™ band (if equipped).
Radio set traffic, radio [set] traffic off, radio [turn]
traffic off: These commands instruct the system to turn
the traffic feature on or off.
Radio [show] [next] presets: This command instructs
the system to change to the next presets on the
active band.
