Chapter 4: Learning Configuration Expert Basics
Property sheets are used to add easily configurable objects and also to modify the
configuration settings of objects once they have been added. If there is a dialog box
associated with an object, there will be a dialog box icon
next to that object.
Configuration Expert Toolbar
The Configuration Expert toolbar is a set of buttons located at the top of the Configuration
Expert window. The following figure identifies the function of each Configuration Expert
Toolbar button:

Copying Objects
You can copy objects and apply their configuration settings elsewhere to quickly
configure ports, ACLs, and QoS profiles as well as easily setup and administer VLANs.
The following table lists the objects from which you can copy configuration settings,
indicates the objects to which those settings can be applied, and describes the effect of
copying those objects. These objects must be located in the same configuration file.
