Accessing the Configuration Screen
To access the Configuration screen from the Features Selection screen:

Use the arrow keys to highlight the IP Address Assignment
option and press the Return key, or press F7. The
Configuration screen, Figure 5-4, appears.

5.4.2
Configuration Screen Fields
The following briefly explains each field on the Configuration screen.
I/F
Gives the number of the interface corresponding to the channel over
which packets with that IP address are passing. There is an ENET
(Ethernet) and a TR (Token Ring) channel.
IP Address
Displays the IP Address of the Ethernet and Token ring ports.
SubNET Mask
Displays the SubNET Mask for the ETWMIM. A subnet mask is a
32-bit quantity which “masks out” the network bits of the IP address.
This is done by setting the bits in the mask to 1 when the network
treats the corresponding bits in the IP address as part of the network
or subnetwork address, or 0 if the bit identifies the host.
