Indicates the access status accorded each community name. Possible
status conditions are:
BASIC-READ
This status provides limited read-only access to
the ETWMIM. This does not include access to
security protected fields of upper levels
(read-only, read-write, or super-user).
READ-ONLY
This status allows for extended read-only
access to ETWMIM/Local Management fields,
but excludes access to security protected fields
of upper levels (read-write or super-user).
READ-WRITE
This status provides read and write access to
ETWMIM/Local Management fields, excluding
fields that are security protected fields for
super-user.
SUPER-USER
This status provides read-write access to the
ETWMIM and allows changes to all modifiable
parameters including: community names, IP
addresses, traps, and SNMP objects.

Editing the Community Name Table Screen
The password that you use to access Local Management at the
Password screen must have Super-User access for Community Name
Table edits to take effect. A password of either BASIC-READ,
READ-ONLY, or READ-WRITE access displays the message
“AUTHORIZATION PROHIBITS ACCESS”, and does not include
editing capabilities.
Caution: Any community name assigned in the Community Name
Table is a password to its corresponding level of access to Local
Management. The community name assigned super-user access is the
only one that provides complete access to Local Management.
