TOKEN RING STATUS LEDs
STBY (Standby)
Standby is an inactive state where the module is not passing data on
the ring. Standby is set/reset via in-band network management.
•
On - Indicates that the module is in Standby mode.
•
Off - Indicates normal operation. The module is operational
and passing data on the Station port.
16 Mbps (Ring Speed)
•
On - Indicates that the module ring speed is set to 16 Mbps.
•
Off - Indicates that the module ring speed is set to 4 Mbps.
LWRP (FNB Left Wrap)
The LWRP LED indicates the state of the FNB left (trunk) connection.
•
On - Indicates that the left FNB ring connection has been set
to the wrap state by network management.
•
Off - Indicates normal operation. The FNB left connection is in
a non-wrap state. When this LED is on, it indicates that the left
FNB ring connection has been set to the wrap state by network
management.
NSRT (Insert)
•
On - Indicates that the module is inserted onto the ring via its
FNB Trunk connection. This is the normal operating condition.
•
Off - Indicates that the module has been removed from the
ring.
